子曰：「顏氏之子，其殆庶幾乎？
有不善未嘗不知，知之未嘗復行也。
易曰：『不遠復，无祇悔，元吉。』」
孔子贊賞他的學生顔回說：“顔家的這位子弟，要算位知幾通達的君子了吧！
有了過失，沒有自己不知道的，一經反省發覺以後，立即改正，從此不再犯了。
《易經》復卦初九爻辭上說：‘迷途了，走到未遠的地方，即時回頭猛省，便不至于有太大的悔吝，經此警覺，則有大吉。’

The Master said: - 'I may venture to say that the son of the Yan family had nearly attained (the standard of perfection).
有不善未嘗不知，知之未嘗復行也。
If anything that he did was not good, he was sure to become conscious of that;
and when he knew it, he did not do the thing again.
易曰：『不遠復，无祇悔，元吉。』」
As is said in the Yi, "(The first line shows its subject) returning from an error that has not led him far away.
There is no occasion for repentance. There will be great good."'
